Creative School Connections
Making Creativity a Core Subject
ACH Clear Pathways Presents:
K-8 Art Programming
The Creative School Connections program is a dynamic arts initiative that brings creative experiences into schools and community settings, providing K-8 students with enriching opportunities to explore, create, and grow. This program is designed to bridge the gap between education and the arts, ensuring that students have access to meaningful artistic engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
Creative School Connections includes:
- Out-of-School Time (OST): A structured after-school program where students engage in visual and performing arts, fostering self-expression and personal growth. Transportation and hot meals are provided for OST.
- Creative Camp: A hands-on artistic summer experience offering immersive workshops in painting, sculpture, music, movement, and digital storytelling. In addition to swimming at the city parks pool and field trip Fridays-breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided to students.
- School Partnerships: In collaboration with schools, ACH Clear Pathways brings professional artists and teaching creatives into classrooms, engaging students in interactive learning experiences that encourage creative problem-solving, cultural appreciation, and artistic confidence.
Visual & Performing Arts
Inspiring Academic Success Through the Arts
By incorporating visual and performing arts this program helps students develop social-emotional skills, enhance critical thinking, and build a strong sense of identity. The structured yet exploratory nature of Creative School Connections allows children to engage with artistic disciplines at their own pace, empowering them to see the arts as both a tool for learning and a pathway for personal and academic success.
Through this initiative, ACH Clear Pathways fosters an environment where creativity is not just a subject—it’s an integral part of a child’s development, helping them navigate the world with confidence, expression, and imagination.
